A long time ago, the DYAQ was a family tradition. The inheritance of DYAQ has always been by way of oral and by heart teaching (rote) in accordance with the ancient method, which was relatively conservative. It is thanks to one of our teachers in Germany, Dr. Li, who was tireless in teaching DYAQ, and it was through her persistence that Dr. Fu began to teach German friends through lectures.
Dr. Fu has been giving DYAQ lectures in Germany since 2006. My husband came back from one of the lectures in Germany in 2013. He commented that there were many DYAQ doctors there now. Their therapeutic effects were also very good. He sighed and said, “Look, such a good TCM method in our motherland can take root and blossom abroad, so that now many Germans can benefit from DYAQ. But there were very few people in China who know about it, let alone learning DYAQ, So I want to teach DYAQ in our country, so that we Chinese people can also benefit from DYAQ”.
One day, when we were walking together after dinner, my husband told me this, “We have two big tasks, the first is to write DYAQ well, and the second is to teach. We must go out and let more people know about DYAQ. If this is not told, it will be lost! I am also afraid that it will be spread wrongly. DYAQ must follow the right path. This thing of the old ancestor cannot be changed!” I took my husband’s arm and looked at him happily “Okay, then you are responsible for the advanced content. I will talk about the simple content. You write the advanced knowledge. I will write the basics. And I will accompany you to help spread the knowledge of DYAQ: Giving lectures in China and make DYAQ benefit more people…”
However, I didn’t expect him to pass away the next day, so now this is his last wish and also mine. Over the years, I have been particularly afraid, afraid that I may have made a mistake or said it poorly. I have been stepping up my studies. Our German teacher Dr. Li and the students have always wanted to follow up on the DYAQ course, and have been inviting me to go there again. Under their repeating invitations, in May 2018, I went to Germany to continue my husband’s lectures. I received a special welcome during the lecture, which gave me a lot of confidence!
During my medical treatments, I also talked about this to some beneficiaries and friends of DYAQ. They also wanted to understand and learn about the DYAQ. I had wished to teach them as well in China. This wish was postponed for five years. Since the time is urgent, I don’t want to waste another five years! Only this year have I had the opportunity to speak to you. This time, I specially designed a course for you, and I started to share it with you and teach the DYAQ. More courses will be launched slowly in the future. DYAQ was sent out as an education, so that the medicine of the motherland could continue to be passed down, and Dr. Fu’s dying entrustment was fulfilled.
This is the original intention and willingness of mine to start teaching a class. I will tell you about it. I hope everyone will actively participate in the study. I will share it here today.
